Patronage does not go through the association: it goes from the patron to the developer. This page exists to make it visible, not to account for it.
A third source: patronage
Patronage is a very exceptional form of funding. We have experienced it: it takes over from volunteering, because volunteering, for all its magic, has its limits. It was Aya who made possible the permanent contract that Hugo needed in order to find housing.
The association plays no part in this gesture, other than informing people through this page in order to pay tribute to it. It allowed Hugo Trentesaux to devote himself full time to Duniter for 16 months, to improve its security and in particular to code the migration in a professional technical environment (Rust/Substrate).
For any future patronage, the association can act as an interface on request, as the developer or the patron needs. Contact us.

Current patronage
We will acknowledge here the patrons who wish to be made public.
The meetups, for their part, have lived for years on the same discreet generosity: the last nine hackathons were carried by the patronage of Yvv and Aya, for an order of magnitude of €14,000. This is what the Hackathons and sprints reserve is replacing — a reserve fed by donations, rather than by two people.
