2022 campaign - Help the June grow

This campaign was born just after the pangolin interlude of 2020 and 2021, a relatively quiet one.

Hugo and Poka obtain a grant from Ademe, of €35k, on a budget of €50k of which 30% must be self-funded, that is €15k. The initial application is earmarked for the development of the Ğecko mobile client, to which the development of Duniter v2, on which Ğecko depends, is later added. They entrust Axiom-Team with the task of raising this self-funding share and topping it up to give resources to the development of Duniter v2. The association carries the grant and, on request, supports the developers who initiated it with the administrative procedures.

The donation campaign is then launched with a target equal to the total budget, that is €50k. A whole team led by ScanU gets going to spread the word. Nearly 480 donors take action. Respect.

NOTE: €50 were donated through a channel other than helloasso, bringing the total to €31,332.

Allocation of donations

For this campaign, we went through our first allocation circle, led by 1000i100 and Hugo, then a second one led by ScanLeGentil.
The developers and donors present were able to share out the envelopes according to collective priorities and proven needs.

Following the allocation circle, the allocations are as follows:

Processing the figures.

There was a "Duniter v2 development" item, brought down to zero because the envelope was too tight to employ someone over time or to hire an experienced contractor.
On the other hand, the "Ademe self-funding" item (€15k on the invoices of the Ademe project) was not labelled as such. But the €15k did fund the development of Ğecko and Duniter v2.
The original "not earmarked" item of €16,080 is therefore reduced to €1,080 by subtraction.

• The €2k allocated to self-funding during the allocation circle therefore feed the fund for the self-funding of later grants.
• The "Intern" item and the "Communications contractor" item were brought down to zero by the circle. But there was indeed an internship, Guénoël's, covered by the grant.

Use of resources

Here we distinguish between the €15k associated with the Ademe project, whose total budget is €50k, on the one hand, and the €16k (€16,332) of additional donations on the other, for payments and expenses outside the Ademe project, making up envelopes.

Ademe project

Compiled expenses of the Ademe project, within the overall envelope of €50k. These expenses are therefore covered by the grant itself and self-funded by your donations up to the required 30%.
In other words, your donations are present in every bar at a level of 30% (31% to be precise).

Expenses outside the Ademe project

Half of your donations to this campaign were therefore allocated to this Ademe project budget. The remaining €16k are allocated according to the needs and earmarks of the allocation circle (shown in the pie chart above).

NOTE: The balance of the grant, an amount of €17k, was only paid on 7 August 2025! This means that most of the donations beyond the self-funding were used to pay the project's invoices, before the grant that covers them was received. The donations thus mainly served as cash flow for the project.

This sum is therefore partly freed up for allocation to the earmarks of the allocation circle, or will be reassigned, because two years have passed and the needs have changed.

When the balance of the Ademe grant was actually paid, the grant totalled €35k, on a project closed at €50,722. In the end, self-funding represents 31% of the total budget (€15,722).

The amounts above, allocated outside the Ademe project, total €2,193.

So €13,367 remain to be used from this campaign.
